Owens Runs Hit String to 20 Straight Games Sunday, October 2nd, 2022 Dominic Owens's bat has been smoking lately as he went 2-for-4 in today's 9-5 triumph over Antioch at Golden Fleece Park. The 27-year-old left fielder for the Astoria Argonauts has now hit safely in 20 consecutive games. Dominic Owens doubled in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, walked in the 5th, singled in the 6th and struck out in the 8th. This year Owens is hitting .355, produced 67 RBIs and 8 home runs, scored 84 times and gotten on base at a .446 rate. |
