August's BCL Batter of Month Award Announced Thursday, September 1st, 2022 For a rookie just breaking in, António Barbarro certainly put together a successful month. It was good enough to win the BCL Batter of the Month award for August. The 27-year-old right fielder for the Vancouver Canadians hit .439 with 5 home runs, 27 RBIs and 30 runs scored. Barbarro is hitting .320 so far this season with 84 RBIs and 93 runs scored. He has 143 hits including 17 home runs, 64 walks and .407 OBP. |
