Titans Chill Pennington's Hot Streak Tuesday, August 16th, 2022 The Chicago Titans pitching did its job today, holding hot-hitting George Pennington hitless in 3 at-bats during a 7-2 victory over the El Paso Diablos at The War Dome. This disappointing performance ended his 20-game hitting streak. "I'm a little down right now," Pennington said after the game. "I couldn't get anything going when the team needed me, and I hated to see the streak end, too." Pennington is hitting .222 for the season with 4 home runs, 31 RBIs and 42 runs scored.
