BCL Announces July's Best Starter Monday, August 1st, 2022 Manuel García hasn't been around the big leagues long enough to know that youngsters shouldn't be winning Blake Camden League Pitcher of the Month. But when you put up numbers like his, you're going to get some notice. In July the Vancouver starter earned a 5-0 mark in 6 starts. He threw 44.1 innings, struck out 37 and compiled a solid 1.62 ERA. Presently García has a 10-6 mark in 21 starts with a 3.77 ERA. He has given up 138 hits in 131.1 innings, struck out 112 and issued 60 walks. Opposing clubs have compiled a .272 batting average against him. |
