Astoria's Gonzáles Bags BCL Batting Award Monday, August 1st, 2022 José Gonzáles put together a good July to earn the Blake Camden League Batter of the Month prize. A virtual unknown, he made the most of his chance to prove to Astoria officials that he belongs on the big league roster. The Argonauts right fielder posted a .319 batting average with 11 home runs, 32 RBIs and 22 runs scored. Gonzáles is hitting .317 in 2022 with 74 RBIs and 20 home runs. |
