Hunt Belts Bunch of Base Hits Friday, July 29th, 2022 History in the making. That's what the fans at Stanley Park got to see today, when Pasadena outplayed the Canadians 7-4. Jasper Hunt of the Bumblebees came to the plate 5 times and came away with a dynamite day as he exploded for 5 hits against Vancouver. In the postgame press conference the Vancouver skipper quipped to reporters, "Hey, we tried to get him out. We threw everything but the kitchen sink against him and he hit it. Maybe we should've thrown the kitchen sink." Jasper Hunt singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit a two-run single in the 9th. For the season Hunt has produced 80 hits in 248 at-bats for a .323 average with 7 home runs and gotten on base at a .398 clip. |
