Stevenson 5-6 for Argonauts Friday, July 15th, 2022 Justin Stevenson had an answer for everything the Reno Raiders threw him today in the Astoria 14-10 triumph at House of Pain. He made good contact 5 times and 5 times he drilled the ball for a base hit. The Astoria third baseman went 5 for 6 in the game to put his name in the record book. Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, Stevenson said, "I just see the ball and I hit it." Justin Stevenson grounded out in the 1st, hit a two-run double in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and hit an RBI double in the 8th. Thus far this year Stevenson has hit .273 with 17 home runs and 62 RBIs. |
