Fireballs Yen-nien Sun Swings Hot Bat, BCL Winner Monday, July 4th, 2022 So far in his young career, Yen-nien Sun has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Blake Camden League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 22-year-old Joplin Fireballs catcher hit at a torrid .545 clip as he collected 12 hits in 22 at-bats, 2 home runs, 4 RBIs and 5 runs scored. This season Sun is hitting .307 with 7 home runs. |
