BCL Votes Freedom Colón Top Player Monday, June 20th, 2022 25-year-old Orlando Colón made a few Philadelphia headlines during this past week as the rookie left fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Blake Camden League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 13 hits in 25 at-bats to put up a .520 average. Colón collected 4 home runs, 11 RBIs and scored 7 runs. Thus far in 2022 Colón is hitting .299 with 22 home runs, 58 RBIs, 50 runs scored and has compiled a .379 OBP. |
