Verney on a Rampage, Hits for Cycle Saturday, May 28th, 2022 The Bronx fans had a lot to cheer about today as Graham Verney hit for the cycle en route to a 14-10 victory over the Astoria Argonauts. The 21-year-old center fielder led the way with 3 RBI and 5 hits. Graham Verney hit a solo-shot off George Bedford in the 1st, tripled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and walked in a run in the 8th. This year Verney is batting .413 with 3 home runs and 27 RBIs. |
