Blake Camden League Announces #1 Player Monday, May 9th, 2022 27-year-old Markko Hurskainen made a few Billings headlines during this past week as the rookie first baseman proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Blake Camden League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 14 hits in 29 at-bats to put up a .483 average. Hurskainen collected 1 home run, 7 RBIs and scored 3 runs. In 32 games this season Hurskainen is batting .405 with 49 hits and 5 home runs. He has scored 21 runs and driven in 29. |
