Bad News for Bumblebees, Lemoine Injured Wednesday, April 20th, 2022 The Bumblebees received bad news this morning. David Lemoine will miss 9 months due to a torn posterior cruciate ligament. He sustained the injury in the Pasadena-Astoria game while running the bases. "I'm disappointed more than anything," he told reporters later in the day. "You can't help your team on the bench," Lemoine sighed. "I'll do the rehab work and hope for a quick recovery." For the season Lemoine has produced 13 hits in 48 at-bats for a .271 average with no home runs and gotten on base at a .400 clip. |
