Another Setback for McNeil, Forced To Retire Tuesday, February 8th, 2022 Tough news out of Minneapolis for Elvis McNeil, 25-year-old center fielder for the Freeze. According to a team spokesman, "McNeil suffered a potential career-ending injury during a workout yesterday." It was another devastating setback for McNeil, who now might be facing a forced retirement. His rehabilitation from a torn anterior cruciate ligament was going well. His doctors were pleased with his progress and thought he might be activated soon. Then the ultimate injury happened. |
