Tengesdal Wins BCL Player of the Week Prize Monday, September 27th, 2021 26-year-old Bård Tengesdal made a few Astoria headlines during this past week as the rookie right fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Blake Camden League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 11 hits in 26 at-bats to put up a .423 average. Tengesdal collected 2 home runs, 9 RBIs and scored 8 runs. In his 2021 season totals, Tengesdal has 15 home runs, .257 BA, .332 OBP, 50 RBIs and 50 runs scored. |
