Carl Clay Out for 4-5 Months Friday, September 24th, 2021 Baristas reliever Carl Clay was hurt throwing a pitch during today's Diablos game and suffered a bone spur in his elbow. He will be laid up about 4-5 months. His stats sheet for the year shows Clay has managed to hold opponents to a .276 average in no relief appearances, while putting up 13-7 record with 100 strikeouts and 52 walks in 166.2 innings. He has a 4.00 ERA with no saves. |
