Vedant Goes on Rampage Against Banditos Sunday, September 12th, 2021 Vihaan Vedant exploded for a barrage of base hits today at Underdogs Ballpark. The Indian Wells left fielder had a field day in the 7-5 triumph over the Acapulco Banditos, finishing with a 5-5 day and a spot in the league record book. "My hitting philosophy is pretty simple," he said. "I focus on just seeing the ball and I try to get a good pitch." Well, Vedant must have focused at least 5 times and apparently got some good pitches, too. It was one of his best days ever with the bat. Vihaan Vedant singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit a two-run single in the 8th. Currently Vedant has no home runs and a .636 batting average. |
