BCL's Premier Starter is Ríos Sunday, August 1st, 2021 Over the past month Sixto Ríos has turned quite a few heads. He's young, talented and able to pitch with the established arms in the Blake Camden League. He proved all that and now he's been named July's Pitcher of the Month. The rookie for the Philadelphia Freedom posted 4-1 mark and a 1.72 ERA. In 5 starts he tossed 36.2 innings, permitted 27 hits and fanned 26 batters. To date this season, Ríos has registered 20 starts, 9-6 won-lost mark, 3.72 ERA, 125.2 IP, 93 strikeouts and 67 walks. Opposing teams have hit .268 against him. |
