Manuel Ortega out 4-5 Months With Injury Monday, May 31st, 2021 Earlier today, Antioch shortstop Manuel Ortega had to leave the game against Vancouver because of an injury. Team officials are reporting that he has a torn labrum and will miss 4-5 months of play. Ortega was hurt colliding with a player at a base and was unable to continue playing. He will be evaluated this afternoon by team physicians. This season Ortega is batting .269 with 14 RBIs, 11 runs scored and no home runs. |
