Astoria Left Fielder Nets BCL Award Monday, May 24th, 2021 Astoria Argonauts left fielder Marty Silver rose above the controversy surrounding his soon-to-expire contract, thriving under pressure last week and copping the Player of the Week award in the Blake Camden League. Silver put up a .567 batting average (17-30) with 2 home runs, 12 RBIs and scored 7 times. So far this season Silver is batting .412 with 5 home runs. |
