Indian Wells-Albuquerque Fight Results in Suspensions Wednesday, April 21st, 2021 At a recent Aeropostales-Cacti contest at Stars Field, Lai-hsiang Xiu of Indian Wells took exception to what Alexandre Lallement of Albuquerque said to him and tackled him. This led to an old-fashioned bench-clearing free-for-all between the two clubs. After the umpires restored order, they ejected both players. Today the league commissioner's office took action and suspended each player for 5 games, citing them for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct." This season Xiu is batting .333 with 19 hits and 5 home runs. He has scored 9 times and has 15 runs batted in. |
