Republic, Grays Make Trade Friday, December 5th, 2025 It's all done except the paperwork. The So Cal Republic and the Georgia Grays have agreed to a trade that will send 25-year-old 2B Abalendu Manglorkar and 30-year-old RF Pablo López to Georgia, while 24-year-old LHP Alim bin Umar, 25-year-old LHP Christian Wallace, 19-year-old minor league LHP Pat McConnell and 21-year-old minor league CF Corey Florey will be shipped to So Cal. A top front office executive with the Republic described the trade talks as "quick and easy." "We're glad to get this deal done. We think it's something that helps our ball club and it didn't take too long at all to sort this one out," he said. To date López has a .301 career batting average and has totaled 146 home runs.
