Atkinson, Moore Swap Teams Friday, December 5th, 2025 According to BNN there were mixed emotions by the players involved in the trade between the So Cal Republic and the Jacksonville Jacks. As part of the deal, the Republic swapped 32-year-old RHP Anthony Atkinson and 19-year-old minor league RF Orlando González to the Jacks getting 23-year-old LHP Masafumi Tamura, 31-year-old LF Dave Moore and 20-year-old minor league CF Héctor Castillo in return. The players indicated it was good to get a fresh new start in another city, but it was difficult to leave your friends on the old team. During his career Atkinson's won-lost record is 176 wins and 82 losses with a 3.45 ERA. He has limited other teams to a .251 average. In his career Moore is batting .257 with a total of 110 home runs. |
