Republic, Toreros Confirm Swap Friday, December 5th, 2025 BNN is reporting a rumored trade between the So Cal Republic and Cabo San Lucas Toreros has been finalized. The deal, which is expected to be announced sometime during the next few hours, will reportedly send 36-year-old LHP Nelson Taylor to Cabo San Lucas in return for 19-year-old minor league RF Ovídio Roger. The clubs were noncommittal on the trade, but did not deny it. To date Taylor's career stats show a 58-43 record with 48 saves and an ERA of 3.29. He has fanned 1270 opposing hitters and held them to a .227 average. |
