Tyson Pitches Eureka to Shutout Win Sunday, October 5th, 2025 "He was too darn good for us today," grumbled the Mile High manager after his club suffered a 7-0 shutout at the hands of Morgan Tyson of the Eureka Hornets. He held the Mile High Mustangs scoreless in a 3-hit whitewash. Tyson was in a zone of his own most of the game and finished with 3 strikeouts and 1 walk in a strong outing. In a postgame quote his own skipper added, "He pitched his butt off, had good velocity, good movement and had those guys off balance. Morgan did a whale of a pitching job." To date this year, Tyson shows a 5-5 record, 13 starts, 117.1 innings, 74 strikeouts and a 2.91 ERA. |
