5-Hit Blitz by Brooks Thursday, October 2nd, 2025 It was a good day for the Gamblers at Labatt Bleue Park as they clipped the Montreal Bandits 13-10. It was tremendous day for Sean Brooks, who went on quite a hitting spree with a 5 for 6 barrage. The Las Vegas left fielder told reporters after his big 5-hit performance, "I don't have any buzz words. I'm not 'dialed in' or 'in a zone,' as they say. As far as the hitting goes, I try to keep it simple. I try not to look into it too much. Basically the pitcher throws the ball, I try to pick up the spin, then try to hit it. Today I picked up the spin very well." Sean Brooks singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit a two-run single in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off John Martin in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Marcos León in the 7th and grounded out in the 9th. This season Brooks is batting .343 with 110 RBIs, 98 runs scored and 27 home runs. |
