Beavers Snap Murillo's Streak at 22 Thursday, September 18th, 2025 Fernando Murillo's 22-game hitting streak has now come and gone. It was snapped today in the Jesters 2-1 setback to the Beavers. Murillo went without a hit in 4 trips to the plate. Talking to BNN after the game he was visibly upset. But the streak had little to do with it. "I'm disappointed we lost, I'm not one bit disappointed that the streak ended," Murillo said. "The hitting streak was just one of those things where it was fun while it lasted, but I'm not going to lose any sleep tonight." To date, Murillo has collected 157 hits for a .286 average. He has posted 19 home runs, scored 80 runs and driven in 79 runs. |
