Gómez Extends Hit Streak to 31 Games Friday, September 12th, 2025 The hot bat of Jesters center fielder Edgardo Gómez continues to churn out hit after hit, game after game. His consecutive-game hitting streak now numbers 31 games after he went 1-for-4 in today's 15-6 loss to the Toreros at Field de Los Layendas. Edgardo Gómez grounded out in the 2nd, struck out in the 4th, flied out in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Júlio García in the 9th. This year Gómez is batting .324 with 138 hits and 13 home runs. He has scored 64 times and has batted in 49 runs. |
