J.R. Murphy Hurt, Out 11-12 Months Thursday, September 4th, 2025 Dealing with injuries is part of the game, and now J.R. Murphy of the Texans knows this firsthand. He was injured against the Manhattan Beach Patriots while throwing a pitch. Because of a torn rotator cuff, the Dallas reliever is expected to miss 11-12 months. Murphy was a little upset, but understands it comes with the territory. "Baseball can be a contact sport. You try to be careful, but no matter how careful you are, injuries happen." |
