Smith Caps Great Week Monday, September 1st, 2025 At the age of 30, Dan Smith might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Montreal first baseman put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .615 batting average. For his efforts Smith collected the Roberto Clemente League Player of the Week Award. He racked up 16 hits in 26 at-bats, 3 home runs and 10 RBIs last week in 6 games. So far this season, Smith has recorded a .304 batting average with 125 hits, 15 home runs, 66 RBIs, 52 runs scored and a .344 OBP. |
