Black Knights Pitching Ravaged by O'Neil
Tuesday, August 26th, 2025
"It was almost like batting practice. I saw the ball very well and could just about hit it anywhere I wanted." That's what Georgia left fielder Mark O'Neil said to BNN reporters after his fantastic 5-for-5 day against the Brooklyn Black Knights at Blue Ivy Stadium. "I got some good counts and used the whole field." The Grays had a good day, too, and won the ballgame 10-7. Mark O'Neil hit a solo-shot off Rod Larcombe in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI triple in the 6th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
This season O'Neil is batting .331 with 25 home runs. His totals include 80 RBIs and 83 runs scored.
