Hit Parade: Hayes Pops 5 Hits Thursday, August 21st, 2025 It takes more than one player to win a baseball game. Bob Hayes of the Black Knights is proof of that. The Brooklyn right fielder gave it his all and dominated Cabo San Lucas pitching today at Field de Los Layendas with a great 5-for-7 game. However, when the game ended, the scoreboard showed the Toreros went home the winner, 12-11. Bob Hayes hit a solo-shot off Clarence Byrd in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, struck out in the 6th, singled in the 8th, singled in the 10th and flied out in the 12th. This season Hayes is batting .400 with 18 hits, 4 home runs, 5 RBIs, .426 OBP and has scored 9 runs. |
