5-Hit Blitz by Pittman Tuesday, August 12th, 2025 So Cal left fielder Jon Pittman put on quite a show at House of the Republic with a big 5-hit day in the 8-3 victory over the Seattle Sasquatch. In the postgame interview, he said with a smile, "Not a bad day at the plate, 5 for 5.. Wish I could do this more often. It would do wonders for my batting average ... and my salary, too." Jon Pittman singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 8th. This year Pittman has batted at a .347 pace with 104 hits, 8 home runs, 32 RBIs and scored 53 times. |
