Big Day with Bat: Rodríguez 5-for-6 Thursday, August 7th, 2025 It wasn't just another day at the ballpark for Joaquín Rodríguez. It was a very special day, one that many players never experience. But he did. Rodríguez went on a tear and cracked hit after hit off Seattle pitching. When the dust settled on the diamond at The Frozen Tundra, he had a career 5-for-6 day and something he will long remember. And the Minnesota Berserkers had a 17-2 victory over the Sasquatch. "Yeah, it'll be something nice to tell the grandkids, but it won't get me a hit tomorrow," he joked in the postgame interview. Joaquín Rodríguez singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 6th, singled in the 7th and hit a two-run single in the 8th. In 104 games this year Rodríguez has posted a .324 average and put up these numbers: 4 home runs, 52 RBIs and 66 runs scored. |
