Franklin's Treatment Not Going Well, Suffers Setback Monday, August 4th, 2025 Things have gotten worse for Joel Franklin of the Minnesota Berserkers. The 32-year-old third baseman will not be back as soon as originally expected. Franklin is undergoing treatment for a fractured hand, but his doctors have expanded his recovery time to at least 3 weeks. An unidentified team official told BNN, "Joel tried to rush his rehab and suffered a setback." This year Franklin is batting .296 with 59 hits and 7 home runs. He has scored 23 times and has batted in 29 runs. |
