Great Day for Binkley -- 5 Hits Friday, August 1st, 2025 "Ever since I picked up my first bat my coaches were always saying to keep your eye on the ball, don't overswing... just make contact and ya never know what'll happen," Las Vegas's Michael Binkley told reporters after the game. "That's all I did today. I made contact and it turned out well." It definitely turned out well for Binkley today as he collected 5 hits in 5 at-bats against San Diego. It turned out well for his team, too, as the Gamblers knocked off the Hops 13-9 at The Ballpark at Potomac Yard . Michael Binkley walked in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Ajdir Kasakya in the 8th, hit a two-run single in the 9th and singled in the 10th. For the year Binkley is batting .295 with 5 home runs, 40 RBIs and 57 runs scored. |
