Maple-Eureka Trade Confirmed Monday, July 28th, 2025 Several Marauders and Hornets players soon will have to start shopping for a new home. It was announced today that the two teams came to agreement on a trade. Maple will get 26-year-old 2B Akira Kato and 18-year-old minor league RHP Shan Huo and Eureka will pick up 20-year-old minor league RHP Robbie Hogan and 22-year-old minor league DH César Soto in return. "I'm not surprised by the news," one of the players told reporters, "It's part of the business and I understand that. I am looking forward to playing for the Marauders." Kato has collected 52 hits for the Marauders this year, 1 of them home runs. He has also netted 22 RBIs and scored 26 runs while batting .241. |
