Super Week for So Cal's Xiu! Monday, July 28th, 2025 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Roberto Clemente League, but last week Lai-hsiang Xiu of the So Cal Republic reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Xiu rocked opposing pitching for a .556 average (10-for-18), 3 home runs and 11 RBIs to come away with the award. This year Xiu has batted at a .282 pace with 74 hits, 15 home runs, 60 RBIs and scored 40 times. |
