Canó Lives Humble Life
Saturday, July 19th, 2025
Enrique Canó says there are more important things in life than money and possessions and he's certainly living proof of that.
Despite being a professional baseball player, the Georgia Grays starting pitcher lives an incredibly low-key life.
"When I signed my first pro contract I didn't go out and splurge, I bought a used car," he said. "I still live in a pretty small apartment and I am not one for anything too flashy."
Canó said he's seen too many pro athletes blow all their money, or take their success for granted, which is why he likes to live life humbly.
"You're always one injury away from having your career cut short, so dwelling too much on money is never a good thing," he said.
