League Punishes Pair for Fighting Saturday, June 28th, 2025 There was a heated confrontation yesterday at The Frozen Tundra between the Berserkers and Patriots that resulted in ejections and suspensions. Yoshiki Yamamoto of Minnesota and Félix Betancourt of Manhattan Beach were issued 3-game suspensions by the league office for initiating the on-field disturbance. So far this year, Yamamoto is batting .210 with 4 home runs and 11 RBIs. His stats sheet for the year shows Betancourt has managed to hold opponents to a .257 average in 38 relief appearances, while putting up 3-2 record with 65 strikeouts and 18 walks in 48 innings. He has a 4.50 ERA with 5 saves. |
