Danger Pitching Ravaged by Pittman Saturday, June 28th, 2025 It was a hits blitz for Jon Pittman at The Danger Zone. The So Cal Republic left fielder tore into Duke City for 5 hits in 6 at-bats to pace the Republic to a 7-1 victory and to put up a career day. The manager for the Danger bemoaned his pitching, saying, "We fell behind and weren't locating well. Once you get behind in the count, you have to make real good pitches, rather than good pitches, and we weren't able to do that today." He added, "Not to take anything away from Pittman, but bad location was the story of the ballgame. That's why we lost the game." Jon Pittman flied out in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th. Pittman is hitting .357 for the season with 8 home runs, 28 RBIs and 42 runs scored. He has 80 hits in 224 at-bats and played in 58 games. |
