McGowan on a Hot Streak, RCL Player of the Week Monday, June 2nd, 2025 At the age of 31, Steve McGowan might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Montreal left fielder put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .448 batting average. For his efforts McGowan collected the Roberto Clemente League Player of the Week Award. He racked up 13 hits in 29 at-bats, 5 home runs and 8 RBIs last week in 7 games. Currently McGowan is batting .363 with 20 home runs and 48 RBIs. |
