TML Selects Rookie Star of the Month Sunday, June 1st, 2025 Youngster Julián Martínez emerged as the latest Thurman Munson League Rookie of the Month today. The young man from South Carolina deserved the honor, batting .326 with 4 home runs and 14 RBI. Is the month of May a harbinger of things to come or just a fluke? We'll find out someday, but for now, we'll just let Martínez enjoy the limelight. Martínez is batting .320 this season in 34 games with 6 home runs, 20 RBIs and 17 runs scored. He has 39 hits in 122 at-bats. |
