Johnson Garners TML #1 Pitcher Award Sunday, June 1st, 2025 Over the past month Tanner Johnson has turned quite a few heads. He's young, talented and able to pitch with the established arms in the Thurman Munson League. He proved all that and now he's been named May's Pitcher of the Month. The rookie for the Portland Beavers posted 5-1 mark and a 1.99 ERA. In 6 starts he tossed 45.1 innings, permitted 38 hits and fanned 49 batters. Looking at his season stats, Johnson has won 8 and lost 2, collecting 67 strikeouts and 17 walks in 76.1 innings with a 2.12 ERA. |
