300 Home Runs for Yamamoto Thursday, May 29th, 2025 Las Vegas's 10-3 victory over Minnesota was highlighted by Katsuhiko Yamamoto's 300th career home run. His teammates congratulated him at home plate after he circled the bases. "I didn't see all of them out there," Yamamoto said with a chuckle, "until I rounded third base." He added sheepishly: "It was only a home run. It's not like I won us a World Series!" In 5 at-bats the Gamblers left fielder collected 4 hits in his historic game, scored 3 runs, and had 2 RBI. In his career Yamamoto has hit .295 with 1447 hits, 175 doubles, 45 triples and 300 home runs. His totals also include 936 RBIs and 831 runs scored. |
