Basker Sahni, the Mile High Mustangs 24-year-old catcher, put himself in the spotlight last week making him the clear-cut choice for Thurman Munson League Player of the Week honors. He ripped 7 hits in 10 at-bats, compiling a .700 average with 2 home runs and 9 RBIs. This season Sahni has hit at a .265 clip and produced 25 RBI, 6 home runs and 15 runs. |
