McGowan's Hit Streak Over Tuesday, April 29th, 2025 The Las Vegas Gamblers got more than a 12-4 victory over Montreal today at The Ballpark at Potomac Yard . They put an end to Steve McGowan's 22-game hitting spree by holding him without a hit in 4 at-bats. But it was no big deal to the Bandits left fielder. McGowan seemed to feel more for his team than himself. "I had some great looks at some pitches that I should have hit. I missed some that I shouldn't have swung at. All in all, I wasn't much help with the bat today." This year McGowan is batting .455 with 12 home runs and 28 RBIs. In 20 games he has scored 29 times. |
