Week's Best Player Honored by RCL Monday, April 28th, 2025 21-year-old Jon Pittman sent shock waves through ADULT BASEBALL LEAGUE last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the Roberto Clemente League Player of the Week Award. A newcomer to the league, Pittman made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .632 average, 12 hits in 19 at-bats, 3 home runs and 10 runs batted in. Where the So Cal Republic left fielder goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Pittman certainly made his mark last week. In his stats this season, Pittman has posted a batting average of .444 with 20 hits in 45 at-bats, 4 home runs and 12 RBIs. He has also scored 12 runs, walked 4 times and compiled a .490 OBP. |
