Thursday, January 16th, 2025
Team insiders were tight-lipped prior to today's deal that brought 29-year-old second baseman Carlos Campos to Georgia.
Campos is considered one of the league's A-list players and certainly will enhance any chances the Grays have to win a playoff spot this year.
A check of his lifetime stats shows Campos has a career .282 average with 317 hits, 89 doubles, 4 triples, 27 home runs and 145 RBIs. To date he has scored 175 runs, walked 137 times and stolen 4 bases.
