RCL Names Gould Cy Young Award Winner Monday, November 11th, 2024 An old hand in this game, Maurice Gould of the Montreal Bandits silenced critics as well as he silenced the opposition this year by winning the Roberto Clemente League Cy Young Award. The 38-year-old starter threw 246.2 innings, notched 214 strikeouts and put up a 17-9 record to claim the coveted award. Kinnosuke Sato of the Montreal Bandits finished second in voting, while Oniji Nakashima of the So Cal Republic finished third. |
