Cabo San Lucas Takes Wild Card Round in Deciding Game Sunday, October 6th, 2024 The Cabo San Lucas Toreros are off to the Divisional Series after an exciting Wild Card Round triumph. Cabo San Lucas downed the Kansas City Tornadoes, but needed the entire series to do so, with a 7-3 win tonight at Debris Field wrapping up the series 2-1. "It's every guy in this room that made this happen. Without us all pulling in the same direction, we don't win this series," said Rod Brown, who earned MVP honors for a standout offensive series. Brown put up a .455 with a .538 on-base percentage in the series. He also had 1 home runs, drove in 2 runs and scored 4 runs himself. The Divisional Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Wild Card Round finishes. |
